Why We Love… Ealing Village!

Tucked away between Hanger Lane and Madeley Road, Ealing Village is one of West London’s most distinctive hidden gems. Built in the 1930s in a striking Dutch Colonial-Baroque style, it was designed as a glamorous retreat for film stars—though it instead became home to Ealing Studios crew members and local residents.

More than its unique architecture, Ealing Village thrives on its sense of community. With shared gardens, a tennis court, and even a Grade II-listed swimming pool, it’s a place where neighbours come together—whether for summer BBQs or simply to soak in its historic charm.

Featuring stunning photography by Anne Valluy, this issue’s Why We Love… feature dives into the rich history and vibrant life of Ealing Village. Read the magazine here.
