Rockin' Breakfast Vibes at Hard Rock Cafe, Piccadilly Circus
Last Saturday, we kicked off our weekend with an exciting adventure by hopping on the Lizzie line and heading to the Hard Rock Cafe in Piccadilly Circus. As a long-time fan of Hard Rock, I’ve always been enchanted by the magical atmosphere created by the various pieces of rock memorabilia that adorn the walls. Knowing these items have been touched by rock royalty adds a special charm to the place.
Our kids were equally thrilled, embarking on several tours of the displays. They were particularly fascinated by Ed Sheeran's suit—he's a bit of a god to my two ginger children. Their curiosity didn't stop there; they quizzed me on my Beatles knowledge (which thankfully held up under scrutiny) and announced their newfound desire to learn the drums and electric guitar.
The primary reason for our visit, however, was to try Hard Rock Cafe's new breakfast offerings. The kids opted for pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, while my husband chose Eggs Florentine. I decided on the avo on toast, being somewhat of an avocado toast connoisseur. I must say, this particular avo toast did not disappoint. The portion was generous, the egg perfectly runny, and it had just the right amount of chilli kick. My husband was equally pleased with his Eggs Florentine.
Our daughter, Millie, was so impressed that she insisted on writing her own review: "I thought it was incredible! I loved all the instrument displays and the cool outfits... not forgetting the food! The pancakes were soft and fluffy, the bacon was crispy, and the syrup was soooooo good!" Millie, aged 9.
If you're planning a day out in London and looking to start it with a hearty breakfast that hits all the right notes, I highly recommend the Hard Rock Cafe. The breakfast menu is available from 9 to 10:45 AM on Saturdays and Sundays at both the Piccadilly Circus and Park Lane locations.
