At IKB EventWorks, our story is built on a foundation of hard work, resilience, and community. These values were instilled in me by my incredible parents, Surinder Singh Bhamra and Baljeet Bhamra. My father established our family’s printing business in 1990, teaching me the entrepreneurial spirit and determination it takes to succeed. My mother, on the other hand, demonstrated quiet resilience, working tirelessly to support our family while embodying strength and selflessness.
A Journey of Transformation
After spending 14 years in the corporate world, I faced a turning point in 2024 while managing my own health challenges with Crohn’s Disease. A major health episode led to a period of deep reflection, and during my recovery, I realised it was time to follow my dream of creating a business that truly makes a difference. This was how IKB EventWorks came to life—a company that focuses on building meaningful connections, fostering collaboration, and enhancing communities.
Since our official launch in July 2024, IKB EventWorks has specialised in events and marketing that inspire and spark real growth. From intimate gatherings to large-scale events, we work to ensure our clients make the right impact. One of our proudest achievements is the creation of IKB NetWorks, a platform that connects local entrepreneurs, professionals, and businesses in Southall and surrounding areas.
A Commitment to Community
Our commitment extends beyond business—we are dedicated to giving back. In 2024, I was honoured to receive the Community Business Award from the Southall Community Alliance for my contributions to local projects. As we move forward, we’re expanding into wellness and healthcare events, inspired by my own journey and over a decade of attending wellness retreats.
In 2025, I’m thrilled to launch Wellness Retreats in the Southall area, offering affordable, transformative experiences that nurture both health and well-being. Our first event, the Heart and Soul Retreat: Nurture Your Spirit, Embrace Your True Self, will take place on Friday, February 21st, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, at Parkside Yards @The Green Quarter, 1 Seva Drive, Southall, Middlesex UB1 1GH.
