In Good Company: Ben Finch

Ben Finch is a Landscape Photographer based in Hanwell. He has a passion for global adventure, which he captures through photography, but he's also keen to capture the beauty of living in Ealing. His Limited Edition Prints can be found on his website.

At what stage in your life did you first move to Ealing?

After meeting my fiancée who already lived in Hanwell I immediately fell in love with the idea of calling it home

If you were telling someone about Ealing who had never visited, how would you describe it?

A brilliant West London melting pot of culture and art

Do you have a favourite Ealing watering hole?

It has to be the Fox Inn by the Grand Union Canal, great roasts and pints in the best beer garden in the area, what's not to love?

Where have you had your best Ealing meal?

That would be Bill's which has now sadly closed, this is where I first met my now fiancee. A truly wonderful restaurant experience.

Do you have a favourite Ealing independent store?

This would be Momentum in Hanwell, excellent coffee!

Is there a part of Ealing that you find particularly inspirational or where you find peace?

This would be a hidden corner of Hanwell known as Long Wood, an ancient woodland and stream tucked underneath the motorway.

At heart I'm a photographer inspired by travel so I'm always looking to my next adventure which looks to be Madeira, a tropical island off the coast of Africa with mountains, breathtaking scenery - my photographs are available as limited edition prints and cards from my website www.photosbyfinch.co.uk - be sure to check it out!
